Our client, an Australian-based, global leading publicly-listed company, is building a chemical manufacturing facility in Bontang, East Kalimantan and invites qualified candidates to apply for the following opening:

Human Resources Manager

This position is tasked with the responsibility of providing HR leadership and developing strong organizational people capability that enables delivery of business objectives of the new Bontang site. Key to this position is the responsibility to instill its company culture into the new organization and to leverage the high safety, health, environment, quality and production and performance standards.

The candidate for this position needs to:

1. Have completed a tertiary education in HR-related field
2. Have minimal 5 years managerial experience in HR with reputable companies covering all HR functional activities
3. Have work experience in manufacturing
4. Have experience working in start-up operations, especially in high volume recruiting and training
5. Have good facilitation, influencing, communication and project management skills
6. Able to work independently on a stand alone basis
7. Have strong knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law and significant experience in employee and industrial relations
8. Be fluent in both oral and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
9. Be wiling to be based in Bontang
