M &A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Specialist (Manager)

JCI Executive Search International’s client, a holding company that has license in multimedia business and value added service and the new development of application service, is currently seeking for the following position:

M &A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Specialist (Manager)
based in Jakarta Indonesia
PURPOSE OF JOB

Reporting to VP, Mergers & Acquisitions, this role will be responsible for executing attractive investment opportunities in line with the Corporate Strategy and to perform the high-level evaluation of opportunities

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Support VP, M&A in the M&A strategy development process for subsidiaries.
-Facilitate M&A decision-making process with senior management.
- Plan Target Screening by defining the approach, process and criteria.
- Conduct screening of target candidates and analyze them to ensure alignment with the M&A strategy.
-Select M&A Targets and get approval from the BOC, investment committee and President Director.
- Develop target approach strategy and execute it.
- Develop M&A deal documentation codifying the data, communications, planning, and projections

throughout the M&A process

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
-Preferably with advanced degree
- Min.5 years experience in fund management / investment banking / M&A, preferably in Indonesia.
- Extensive knowledge of the ICT and Media & Entertainment industries, with awareness of latest
development with regard to trends and regulation.
- Experience from the big 4 consulting firm, or other prominent global financial/transaction advisory service firm is highly desired
- Some network of contacts in the financial community (investment banks, rating agencies, analysts, financial journalists, market regulators, industry experts)
- Ability to conduct a quick financial/business case evaluation.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Demonstrable ability to source, initiate & drive projects forward successfully.
- Strong written and communication skills – presentations, leading projects and meetings.
- Strong relationship builder, enthusiasm and energy
